Music News:

Most recent: Sugar Shack's 2008 Fall Tour wrapped up Rocktober (why not? it's what it is!) with another succesful Halloween Haunt at Pete and Keri's - Hauntington 3. No recordings from ghoul night to prove it, but Matt S's 40th in Fayston yielded some keeper tracks, one of which has been added just down the page from here. And I should definitely mention that the costume prize ($0 this year) went uncontested to the gang of Shackheads who wore (and made) their own "fall tour" t-shirts - including highly individualized hand-drawn replicas of the authentic Sugar Shack logo!

New pics: I'm still hoping to see some more photos from Halloween night. One Shackhead posted a few but I don't have them available yet. Meanwhile, click here to see the best we've got on file....then bring your camera to the next show....

Next up: We've got a private party in early December, then hopefully the snow flies often and we'll see you up at Sugarbush for apres ski. Stay tuned for more info on that.

New recordings: We got some of our truly best stuff on tape (literally. We're old school.) from Matt's party, at least one of which is below, and I'm going to put a few more online soon so check back. Meanwhile, here again is our ever-developing album, culled from the romping reality of various live gigs and practice sessions:

2007: Year Of The Shack, last year's ultimate tour compilation, is still available as a 3-disc monster set or as a 1-disc sampler. Tell me which version you want or just say "Shack it to me!" and I'll decide.

Solo report:

Coming up - the Advance Music singer/songwriter contest, Tuesday October 28th, 7pm sharp at Metronome in Burlington. What will I play? Come out and see and cheer me into the finals!

Wow, I haven't done a solo gig for far too long, but I will again more often this fall and stick season....
